Here's my first special character! It took basically no time to paint. I'm so used to doing heavy conversions and painting in large squads; this took no time at all.
As a sidenote, this is my first failcast model. To put it very mildly, I am not happy at all and am unlikely to ever buy a failcast model again. The texture that you see on the shoulderpad? That's not thick paint, that's what the model was like. I also had to use hot water to straighten some parts. I have another failcast model with the same texture issue, and I also had to use hot water to basically fix the model. And they're no more or less detailed than newer GW plastic kits. Bah!
Anyway, here are the pics, and thanks for looking.

Monolith Complete!
I'll let the pics speak for themselves. If you're new here, you can read about the conversions I did to make this model.

Monolith Update
Just a quick update. I recently moved (again!) but long distance this time. My furniture took a week to arrive, and it took me a few days more to setup and find the time to paint.
But! I've made a lot of progress. Here's a couple of quick pics!
